How much would you pay an hour for computer training?

I am planning on opening an one on one computer training business in my home or at the customer’s home. I will offer typing, basic skills, word, powerpoint and internet. I have a B.S in business, currently teaching computer classes at the adult learning center and I have taken many computer courses.

1. How much would you pay an hour for my services?

2. How much should I charge for mileage to go to the customer’s home?

  1. ascendo.tuum says:

    G’day …

Although this is difficult to answer, as any number could be right (or wrong) … I’ll give it a shot based on my experience …

    1. $50/hr is a good starting base number … increase/adjust according to level/scope of training etc….

    2. you can do this one one of two ways: a) stick to a set travel radius and add to base cost, or b) add to base cost based on a case by case basis

    Good luck …
